San Diego Fancy Food Show The show is usually held in San Francisco, San Diego was chosen for 2008. It was a smaller show than New York, but still had a great range of products from just about every corner of the world. Italy had the largest presence with wines, Serrano hams, cheese and every type of olive product you can imagine.
Which brings me to the reason for being in San Diego, to launch Q, the line of sauces created in the kitchen of my fine dining restaurant that Q Gourmet made available for the consumer market.
We featured three sauces “Smokey Barbeque” Smokey Mango and “Passion fruit Mustard”. They were served with Clear water Seafood which the buyers loved and the winner was the chicken lollipops with the various sauces drizzled over them.
The sauces were a hit with the specialty food buyers eager to bring a new gourmet item to their customers.
Here begins the Q!!
