Reading the “New York Times” today, I found a very interesting article about miniature desserts and how these seem to be taking over New York. Mini popsicles, tiny macaroons, bite-size ice cream sandwiches and baby caramel apples sound like a great option to satisfy your craving for sweets, not to mention the variety of flavors and fun colors.

There was something in particular on the article that captured my attention, when studying the popularity of tiny food among humans, the actual reason why we seem to like them so much is not because they are fun and cute, but due to carbophobia and being cautious spending. What do you think? I would like to invite you to read the entire article and I bet you will have a different perspective – Join it with a small dessert, for a change!
