So this morning I woke up with an urgent desire of some BBQ flavoring food. Traditionally, barbecue sauce is used for ribs. But let me tell you that there are thousands of delicious meals that I personally love because of the BBQ flavoring.

Let’s start with an idea for breakfast. Yes: BBQ sauce on your breakfast. A sandwich using ciabatta bread, scrambled eggs, a few slices of bacon, Swiss cheese, and two spoons of BBQ sauce will make a mouth-watering breakfast. Take it to the oven for five minutes, and then just enjoy.

I’m also a steak lover. Steak and BBQ sauce definitely make a great combination. There is nothing better for a family reunion than a BBQ marinade steak. The combination of the BBQ sauce, along with Worcester sauce, and red wine will make a perfect marinade for your steak.  Use salt and pepper as desired, and don’t forget to re-apply the marinade once when turning the steak.

BBQ sauce makes also a perfect match with fish. When combined with salmon, BBQ sauce will infuse a mildly spiced and unique taste to what I consider my favorite dish from the ocean. A BBQ grilled salmon with some grilled veggies on the side will not only make a luscious meal, but also a very nutritive one.

And what about BBQ sandwiches? There are thousands of different sandwiches that you will love if using BBQ sauce. Let me tell you about my favorites. One of them is the BBQ chicken sandwich. The taste of some breaded chicken breast, mozzarella cheese and BBQ sauce is to die for.  And my other favorite sandwich is made with pork, cheddar cheese, onion rings, and –of course- BBQ sauce. All this between two slices of toasted ciabatta bread is another mouth watering combination.

And finally, I must confess that I’m a pizza lover. So, I often make it with a twist and instead of using the traditional ragu sauce, I prefer BBQ sauce. Just add some pre cooked chicken, onions, and grated mozzarella cheese. Take it to the oven and put on top some grated parmesan cheese, and you’ll have an exquisite BBQ chicken pizza.
